“Festive Fair 27th November – A Final Plea!”
One more week to go before the Festive Fair, but we still need items for the Raffle and the Tombola so, if you have any new (or nearly new) good quality items which you can donate, we will be extremely glad to include them. Please bring anything you have to the Parish Office in time for next Saturday’s Fair.
Finally, an appeal to all the cake makers out there. We will need cakes to sell at the Fair. If you can bake a good cake and can help, that would be wonderful. Please don’t forget to list the ingredients though – some people have allergies!

Monday Lunch Club We are in desperate need for some more chefs/cooks to help at the Monday Lunch club. We now only meet on the 1st Monday of every month, so you won’t be required that often. If you think you can help with this, please see me. It would be such a shame if we couldn’t continue this, due to lack of helpers. Thank you, Rev Jan

Thanet Food Bank
Thank you so much for all those who give so generously to this food bank. The co-ordinator has said that present shortages are milk and biscuits. She also said that many people ask if they have shower gel, so donations of these would be much appreciated.
Items can be left in church on a Sunday 9.30am – 11am or Wednesday morning 10am-12noon or at the vicarage, 14 Vicarage Street. Anytime, thank you Rev Jan
Letter of thanks received from The Food Link:
I just wanted to say a formal thank you on behalf of all at Thanet Food Link for the kind donation of food and produce that you collected from your harvest appeal. The food will really help towards stocking up the warehouse for Thanet Food Link and support lots of individuals and families across Thanet. We continue to be busy in the village as we distribute each Friday. So, a big thank you to all the congregation and those connected with the church for such a blessing. We are so grateful of you to continue for thinking of us in these uncertain and challenging times, when sadly foodbanks continue to be necessary in the community. Thanks again from all the trustees, staff, and volunteers at Thanet Food Link.
Missing Can you help to be the ears and eyes of our church family? Do you care about those around you? If the answer is yes, then next time you’re in church look around you. If a familiar face has been missing for some weeks do something about it, make enquiries, make a phone call, mention it to someone – THIS IS NOT BEING NOSEY but showing concern for our church family. Next time it could be you missing from that pew – I WONDER IF ANYONE WOULD CARE?
