Morning Prayer
The service is held in the church on a Tuesday morning at 9am and via zoom on a
Monday and Wednesday morning at 9am. For the zoom link, please contact Rev

Please remember in your prayers, Matthew Wood being ordained Priest on
Saturday, 26th June in Sheffield Cathedral.

Rev Alice’s Priesting: Rev Alice will be priested at Holy Trinity Folkestone on
Saturday July 3rd at midday. Numbers are unfortunately still very restricted so
almost certainly only Rev Jan and the church wardens will be able to attend in
person, but the service will be live-streamed. Please join Rev Alice virtually if you
can! The link will be sent out nearer the time, but meanwhile do please pray for
her. She says she needs it!
Thanet Food Link Need your help with the following tinned items: vegetables,
desserts, hot dogs, cereal, tea & coffee, one-litre juice. Donations can be dropped
at: The Baptist Church, St Peter’s, 10:30am to 12pm Fridays and St Peter-in-Thanet
Church on Sundays or Wednesdays 9.30am-11am. Much appreciated
Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM): St Peter’s Church ANNUAL MEETING
will take place on Sunday 20th June at 10.45 am. The meeting is for those whose
names are on the Civil Electoral Roll of the civil parish and/or those whose names
are on the Electoral Roll of the Parish Church. Anyone on either of these rolls can
attend and vote. At this meeting, we will elect our two Churchwardens for the
following year, followed by the APCM, where we will appoint four members of the
Parochial Church Council. Please consider standing for one of these posts. Each
nomination must have a proposer and a seconder. Forms and further information
are available in the church or from the parish office. We will also appoint our
sidesmen and our Independent Examiner (who keeps an eye on our accounts). All
laypersons whose names are on the Electoral Roll of the Parish Church shall be
entitled to attend this meeting, and no other person shall be so allowed. A Clerk in
Holy Orders shall be entitled to participate in and take part in the proceedings if
they are licensed to the parish, resident in the parish, or is a habitual worshipper
in the parish. Agendas and reports will be available nearer the time. If you would

The report of the Trustees and Financial Statements will also be available. Please

Electoral Roll Due to the APCM being moved to Sunday 20th June 2021, the
Electoral Roll for St. Peter’s Church commenced on Sunday 22nd May 2021 and will
be completed by Saturday 5th June 2021. After that date, no other names can be
added to the Roll until after the APCM on Sunday 20th June 2021. An official notice
will be displayed in the South Porch, a copy of the existing Roll will be available for
inspection in the church alongside forms for those wishing to join the Electoral Roll.
Please ask Pauline Osborne when you come into the church, and she can check for
you. If your name is on the current Roll and you wish to remain on it, you need to

The Wednesday Home Group The group will meet on the first Wednesday of the
month. The next one will be on 7th July at 2pm for 2.30pm. For further details
