Would you like to join our team of servers? We would really appreciate it if members of the congregation would consider stepping forward to become servers. Full training will be given. The work is routine, rather than physical. Please have a word with Gill Horne, Rev. Jan, or Rev. Alice if you feel you could help.

Christmas Fayre The time is now upon us to organise the Christmas Fayre which takes place on Saturday 29th November. The Fayre can’t happen unless as many people as possible agree to help. We have a small project team which can handle all the ‘central’ stuff (tables, ‘muscle’ to move things and all the hundred-and-one other things that need doing) but we need to know what church members want, or are willing to, to do at and for the Fayre itself so we have arranged a meeting in the Main Community Hall at 2.00pm on Tuesday 28th September for all those interested in helping. If you would like to join us, please email Roy Brown on btstmarys@aol.com. We look forward to seeing you. Christmas Fayre Project Team
Christmas Fayre
‘I am hoping to run a Christmas stall at the annual Christmas Fair and would appreciate donations of any Christmassy items – baubles, tinsel, presents, candles, ornaments, jigsaws, cards etc. I can collect if necessary (602956) or they can be left at the parish office between the hours of 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday.
Many thanks, Sue Barker.’
Thanet Food Bank
Thank you so much for all those who continue to give so generously to this food bank. They are still short of many food items, so if you are able to help, you are welcome to leave items in church on a Sunday (9.30am – 11am) or Wednesday morning (10am-11am) or at the vicarage (14 Vicarage Street) any time. Thank you. Rev Jan
Missing Can you help to be the ears & eyes of our church family? Do you care about those around you? If the answer is yes, then next time you’re in church look around you. If a familiar face has been missing for some weeks do something about it, make enquiries, make a phone call mention it to someone – THIS IS NOT BEING NOSEY but showing concern for our church family. Next time it could be you missing from that pew – I WONDER IF ANYONE WOULD CARE?
Photographs
Please do not take photos during the service. If you want to take them after the service has finished, please ensure you only take a picture of your own child or family member. Please obtain permission from anyone else before you take their photo. Thank you.
Mobile phones
Please would you ensure all mobiles phones are switched off during the service (not just put on silent mode) to prevent them interfering with the sound system. Thank you.
Track n Trace slips. Once completed, please can I remind you to place these in the dish on the way out of the church. Thank you.
