Monday Home Group – 2:30 pm at 92 Dumpton Park Drive, Broadstairs
We continue to meet as usual on Mondays, and during Lent we are reflecting each week on one of the characters who encountered Jesus during Holy Week – 8 people including the Servant Girl, Barabbas, The Roman Centurion, Pilate’s wife, the Best Friend, the Thief. We shall do this by watching each week a 14-minute video (from a BBC/Bible Society collaboration) featuring a top rate actor providing a thought-provoking vignette as they reflect on their motivations and what happened. With the award-winning series prompting reviews such as “perfectly portrayed, with a twist” (The Sunday Telegraph), “powerful and passionate … intense and absorbing” (Evening Standard) – please do think of coming and joining us – even for just one session. More details from Michael & Elspeth Cooke, 863293.
