The Collect for The Eleventh Sunday after Trinity
O God, you declare your almighty power
most chiefly in showing mercy and pity:
mercifully grant to us such a measure of your grace,
that we, running the way of your commandments,
may receive your gracious promises,
and be made partakers of your heavenly treasure;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Preserves
I will have some marmalade, jam and chutney to sell in church after today’s service. The cost will be £2 per jar, and £1.50 for smaller jars. All monies will go to St Peters Church. Thank you. Marion Brown.
Plants for Sale
Jim French has once again very kindly grown some plants (begonias and coleus) for us to sell to aid church funds. They will be on sale after church this Sunday, and will be a beautiful addition to your garden to fill the gaps in your borders late summer.
