Introduction

We are a Church of England parish wishing to express the love that God has shown us in Jesus Christ.

Our Purpose is to reach out within the community, worshiping Christ and welcoming all, regardless of sex, age, tradition, condition or orientation.

Our buildings include a beautiful 12th Century church; two very well – equipped church halls, and a smaller carpeted room suitable for meetings. The halls complex is open for the wider public’s use and/or hire.

The main church hall foyer is open weekday mornings where you are welcome to come to sit and chat whilst you enjoy a cup of free tea or coffee.

Being located in the historic village of St Peter’s, we have strong links with local groups, as well as the local schools, uniformed organisations, and the St Peter’s Village Tour.

We equally value our links with other local churches – not only the two other Anglican churches in Broadstairs: Holy Trinity and St Andrew’s, (both of whom we share a formal Group Ministry), but with all the other churches within our parish. We are also founder members of Churches Together in Broadstairs and St Peter’s.

Our worship includes both modern (Common Worship) and traditional (Book of Common Prayer) services. We have a fine organ and robed choir helping to lead the main services and festivals. Baptisms, weddings and funerals are also a regular part of our ministry.

We hope that you enjoy looking through what we try to do at St Peter’s Church. Please click on any of the links above. Perhaps even more importantly – we hope to have the opportunity to meet you in person.
