Information for couples considering marriage in our church


You are welcome to marry in the Church of England whether or not you are christened; and whether or not you go to church, we welcome you! 

We are delighted that you are thinking about a church wedding in St Peter’s Church, as we believe that God is concerned with the whole of life, including relationships and families.

If you decide to make your marriage vows in church, you will be affirming your wish for God’s blessing on your marriage, so we want to help you in this most important stage of your life together.
