This will take place this evening Sunday 28th July at 6:30pm in Canterbury Cathedral. Please do come and support Toni, Susan and Monica as they are confirmed by The Right Reverend Tim Thornton, Bishop at Lambeth.

Children in Church 

The new ‘Children’s Church’ will begin on the 1st September.  It will take place in the choir vestry after the notices with children returning back in to church at The Peace. It will comprise of a Bible story, activity and some music. There is still chance for you to be involved so please contact me if you are interested: –

Regular giving by standing order

There are tokens by the South door available for those who give regularly by standing order to put in the collection to indicate their giving.

 

Help needed

There are still many tasks to be completed in the Garden of Remembrance following the work done by the Contractors. If you can spare some time mornings or afternoons then please let me know and I will explain what jobs would be appropriate for you. I look forward to your interest. Don 602287.

 

Fundraising Committee Report for Sunday 28th July 2019

Forthcoming Fund Raising events are Indoor Boot Fair (Saturday 21st September), a Quiz Night (Friday 4th October) and Fashion Show (Friday 1st November). Details of all these events will appear in the Newsletter at a later time.

We are always SO grateful for the cash donations given each week at services. If you are a tax payer it would be an even greater benefit if you could put your donation in a completed yellow Gift Aid envelope so that we can recover the extra 25p in every pound given!
