 Margaret Dickens.

Is a former member of this Church, and her husband was a former Reader here until his death. Margaret would like visit St Peter’s again and would like to stay in the village. She is in her 80’s but does not need care, although she cannot walk great distances. Could someone please host Margaret? If you are able to help please speak to Pam Hancock for further details.

 Thanet Food Link.

As we head into the summer months we are finding that the food bank is generally quite low on stock while the needs of the people remain high. So any non-perishable food would be a great help, thank you.

 Impact England 2018 – inter-church week of mission 29th July – 5th August.

We need people to make and serve food and to be on car park duty at St Georges School, and have welcoming people who can smile and give directions etc. Those with a bit more energy can be involved in messy church, the sports camps and community projects. We will be asking all members to bring either a savoury or sweet dish, so please start to think what you can bring. Fundraising Committee Report

 ‘Sing Along to the Forties’ Night

Our forthcoming ‘Sing Along to the Forties’ event, which was scheduled for 25th August, has had to be cancelled. Unforeseen circumstances have compelled the Calders, who were to have staged the Forties evening, to cancel it, so we no longer have any FR events in August. This is a very great pity. Some people had already begun to express interest in the ‘Sing Along to the Forties’ night and it seemed set fair to be a popular, well attended and jolly occasion. The Fund Raising Committee will be discussing this issue in detail at its 23rfd July meeting

 Indoor Boot Fair

The next scheduled Fund Raising occasion will be the Indoor Boot Fair in the Church Hall on Saturday 22nd September.

Monday Home Group 2:30 pm at 92 Dumpton Park Drive, Broadstairs CT10 1RL. We are currently taking our summer break, and will be resuming in September.
