St. Peter’s Church Christmas Tree Festival 2017

This is the sixth year that this Festival has been held and local schools, organisations and businesses are invited to sponsor a tree. We still have  a couple of trees to be sponsored for this year so if you would like to have your business or club  brought to the attention of the many people who visit the church please call in to the Parish Office in Hopeville Avenue or contact Pauline Osborne direct. Friday 8th December           4.00 pm to 7.30 pm

Saturday 9th December   10.00 am to 5.00 pm

Sunday 10th December      11.00 am to 3.30 pm

At 4.30 the choir of St. George’s School, followed at 5.00 by the choir of St. Peter’s Junior School will entertain us with Christmas Carols and, after the judging of the decorated trees by the Mayor of Broadstairs and awarding of the prizes, relax and listen to more Christmas music sung by St. Peter’s Church choir while you enjoy a  glass of mulled wine and a mince pie in a festive setting.

Come and vote for The People’s Choice – YOUR chance to choose which trees are best.

There will be a variety of musical entertainment provided by St. Peter’s Players, David Lammler (organist), Dane Court Grammar School and St. George’s Secondary School in the church from 2.00 pm until 4.30 pm.



7.30 pm  Concert by Thanet Community Gospel Choir 

Tickets – £5 – for the concert are available in advance from the parish office or on the door. Mulled wine and mince pies will be available in the interval.

Sunday 10th December

9.30 am Sunday Praise – Nativity Worship Drama

The church is open for viewing of the trees from 11.00 to 3.30 pm.
